About the event

Dr. Nick Hill will be leading the group through a somewhatsand barrens site, introducing you to the plants and ecology of this rare ecosystem. You will see sand barrens species such as Reindeer Lichen, Broom Crowberry, Rock Rose and Bearberry. Nick will teach us about how the ecosystem works together and how it has changed over time. The walk will take place on a dirt trail, but there will be some times when we move off trail to explore different habitat features.

Location details will be provided upon regisation. The site is accessed off Whitman Rd., Aylesford.
