Litchfield Beach Clean

We are organizing a series of beach clean to help collect rope to be used for a pilot project being undertaken by Small Craft Harbours (Maritime Region). Rope will be recycled into "plastic lumber" fenders for wharf upgrades in Eastern Passage. Garbage bags, gloves, and collection totes will be provided. Detailed instruction on meeting location, sorting, etc. will be provided to registrants. Feel free to come for a portion of the time or collect in advance for us to sort and manage disposal of. Social distancing will be in effect for volunteers who are not in each others "bubbles". Weather is unpredictable this time of year, so we will keep you posted if we need to postpone.
