About the event
Join us for a group walk and bioblitz aimed at documenting as many different arthropods (the group that includes insects, ararchnids and others) as possible! A bioblitz is a communal citizen-science effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible. Observations will be photographed and uploaded to iNaturalist for identification online.
Please bring any field guides, camera/phone, hand lenses or other tools you use in the field.
We will meet at Bishop Park, off Highway 1 in Round Hill, and walk to the Harvest Moon Trail from there.
The rain date is July 28- we will contact participants if we need to reschedule.
Limited to 15 participants
All ages, kids under 13 need a parent/guardian
