The Festival is a fun-filled day open to everyone, celebrating the environmental, historical, cultural, and recreational values of the Annapolis River.
The event will take place rain or shine. Changes may be made if there are safety concerns. We will not be able to post website updates during the Festival. We will post key updates on the River Fest facebook page, @CARP's Annapolis River Festival

Advanced Registration- CLOSED, all seats and waitlist are filled
GUIDED HERITAGE RIVER TOURS (FREE)
Come and take a relaxing tour on our river and get a glimpse into the past, enjoy the pleasures of being on the water and listen to "Acadian" guides as they transport you back to another time.

Limited space, pre-registration through the CARP website strongly encouraged

4 boats (capacity 5, 5,10, 10) with 3 sail times @ 2:30, 3:45, 5 PM
Tours ~45 minutes in length -
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your sail time

Tours arrive/depart from the floating dock at Jubilee Park

Children under 12 must have a parent/guardian

Advanced Registration- CLOSED, please register on site at the main registration table
CANOE OBSTACLE COURSE ($10/paddler)
Paddlers will make their way through a series of obstacles that require balance and teamwork. Dry clothes can't be guaranteed!

Only open to tandem (2 person) canoe

Limited boats available for loan at no additional cost (please indicate your needs on the registration form)

Personal boats may be used. Vehicle are permitted to access the waterfront for drop-off/pick-up only, NO on-site parking avaialble

Check-in at the main registration table any time before 3:15 pm to complete payment (cash or cheque) OR pay in advance by e-transfer to carp@annapolisriver.ca. Please be sure to indicate your name and the event on your e-transfer.

Listen for a race briefing call around 3:25 pm, the briefing will take place near the canoe rack/storage area

Obstacles will require you to get in and out of your canoe while on the water, or change positions within the canoe. Participants should be prepared for the possibility that their boat may tip or they may fall into the water while completing obstacles

Advanced Registration
CANOE, KAYAK, STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD SPRINT ($10/paddler)
Competitors will race along the Annapolis River from the Queen St. bridge to the floating dock.

Limited boats available for loan at no additional cost, please indicate your needs on your registration form. We will confirm with individuals once pre-registration closes.

If you are bringing your own boat, vehicles will only be permitted on-site to pick up and drop off at the waterfront- NO on-site parking is available
